Sugar Bowl

The 2013 Allstate Sugar Bowl will see a matchup between the SEC and the Big East this season as the Florida Gators take on the Louisville Cardinals.Louisville will certainly get overlooked in this game, coming from the Big East, but that might not be a smart choice. The Cardinals lost only two games this season, which came in their final three games to Syracuse and Connecticut. The Florida Gators are one of the most complete teams in the country. They sport an impressively fast defense that helped the Gators win 11 games this season. The offense isn't great, but they are a lot better than advertised.Expect a better game than most people think in this one. Two touchdowns is quite a lot of points, especially in a BCS bowl game. I'm thinking the Cardinals are going to be able to keep this one a lot closer than people think.

Orange Bowl

The Orange Bowl to me is joke I don't know how you even let Northern Illinois in a BCS game when you have so many better teams not playing in a BCS game. This is defiantly the David vs Goliath BCS matchup this year which makes this matchup  interesting at the same time because everyone remembers Utah upsetting Alabama and the famous Liberty play to hand Boise State a win against Oklahoma in that big upset. So can NIU do the same well highly doubt it because they are losing there head coach that is heading to North Carolina State to coach.

Fiesta Bowl

The Fiesta Bowl is featuring #4 ranked Oregon Ducks and #5 ranked Kansas State. this is not even going to be game Oregon is going to demolish Kansas State. Oregon's offense is going to expose Kansas State offense even worse then what Baylor did and Baylor offense is not even comparable to Oregon's offense. The only way  Kansas State can even keep it a game is if they can make it a shoot-out and Oregon's defense are no slouch. So don't expect a good game when you watch the Fiesta Bowl this year its Oregon in a land slide.

Michael Vick Benched

Michael Vick being bench for the rest of the season by Andy Reid who getting fired this season anyway is just crazyin my opnion. I think Andy Reid is just upset because he knows he's getting fired so he just wants somone to go down with him. Eagles is already having a year which everyone would call a tragedy for all the talent that they have on the team and benching Michael Vick and starting Nick Foles is only going to make it worse. So I just hope Vick has a future in this lesague after this dumb desicion by Andy Reid.

Heismen Watch

The Is really between two players right now. First we have Johnny Manziel he eclipsed Cam Newton's single-season SEC record for total offense and was unanimously voted the SEC Offensive Player of the Year. The Aggies won 10 games in their inaugural SEC season and earned a trip back down Big 12 memory lane with an invitation to play Oklahoma in the AT&T Cotton Bowl on Jan. 4. In second we have Manti Te'o his seven interceptions are tied for second in the country and he recorded more than 100 tackles for the third straight season. He's been the heart and soul of Notre Dame's defense, the stingiest unit in the country and he'll finish his Notre Dame career in Miami in the Discover BCS National Championship Game. I believe Manti Te'o should win the Heismen not to many defensive of players come along and have a huge impact on college football like he has.

Baltimore Ravens Two Linebackers Return

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs doesn't intend to let a torn right biceps keep him out of Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins. The injury occurred last weekend in the fourth quarter of a 23-20 loss to Pittsburgh. Another injured Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis, returned to practice Wednesday, the next stage of the 37-year-old's attempt to come back from a tore right triceps. Lewis was hurt Oct. 14 against Dallas and placed on injured reserve, designated for return. If the Ravens get both of theseto back on the field the Baltimore Ravens are a lock for the playoffs.

SEC Power House

Six consecutive national championships are not enough. An Alabama team on the verge of dynasty can't slake the Southeastern Conference's thirst. Not only is the conference everyone loves to hate in full command of college football, but it has decided to cherry-pick the best coaches other leagues have to offer.

Kansas City Cheifs Tragedy

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend and himself last Saturday morning. Belcher, 25, shot 22-year-old Kasandra Perkins at their Kansas City home Saturday morning, then drove to Arrowhead Stadium, where he shot himself in the head in front of Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel, police said. This is a terrible thing that happen, sources say they don't know why Jovan Belcher did this but this is said for the Kansas City Chiefs program but who I really feel bad for is the baby girl who has to grow up without a mother or father because her dad lost her mind. People do crazy things not knowing they are hurting way more people then just themselves.

NFL Rookie Offensive MVP

There are three players in the hunt for rookie offensive mvp and they are all quaterbacks and they are Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Russell Wilson. I believe the rookie offensive MVP should go to QB Rober Griffin III. He has performed at the highest level out of all the players and some might argue Andrew Luck but RG3 has had a better year then any rookie QB has ever had stepping into the league hands down. Griffin leads the NFL in completion percentage, passer rating and yards per attempt on throws traveling 10-plus yards past the line of scrimmage. Vote RG3.

National Championship

The National Championship game is featuring #1 ranked Notre Dame and #2 ranked Alabama. Everyone has Alabama winning this football and some believe it's going to be a blowout but I think this game is going to be a lot closer then what people think. Both teams have great defenses there's no doubt about that but whats it's going to come own to is which offensive is going to perform the the best and both team have good offenses in my opinion. I think Alabama is going to win but I want Notre Dame to win. In a very close game Roll Tide will win.

Tennessee Volinteers Next Head Coach?

Tennessee is on a the hunt to find there next head coach after firing Derek Dooley after 3 years of total disaster. Tennessee is a top tier program looking for a come up but to do this you need a great head coach especially playing in the SEC (Southern Eastern Conference). Tennessee is looking for a coach with head coaching experience. Tennessee number one choice was Jon Gruden but he said he is happy being an NFL announcer and if was going to coach again he said it would be in the NFL. So with Jon Gruden out of the picture where will Tennessee go next. Some of the names that have been mentioned as possibilities include Florida State's Jimbo Fisher, Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy, Miami's Al Golden, North Carolina's Larry Fedora, Louisville's Charlie Strong, UCLA's Jim Mora Jr. and Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart. in my opinion the obvious choice is Jimbo Fisher but that won't be easy trying to get him to leave a good program like Florida State but if they don't get Jimbo Fisher I think they should get Kirby Smart and I know he has no head coaching experience but this is why I would take a chance on him. He is coming from the best football program in college football, he is a defensive coach and that's the side of the football Tennessee is strong ling on the most with Tennessee being the 112th ranked defense in the nation, he is a great recruiter, and he has been learning underneath one of the greatest college football coaches ever which is Nick Sabin, so I feel like Tennessee should take a chance on Kirby Smart.

Three-legged BCS race to the finish

With Alabama losing to Texas A&M to a 29-24 upset, this makes the title race real intresting with #1 Kansas State, #2 Oregon and #3 Notre Dame all fighting for a spot in the BCS National Championship game. The last time college football staged a national championship game without an SEC participant, former U.S. President George W. Bush was two years into his second term in the White House. So this is a big deal with the top 3 teams not being a SEC team. All three teams have there faith in there hands.

Warren Moon Speaks out in Cam Newtons Defence

So many people are blaming Cam Newton for the Carolina Panthers losing which is not surprising because the first players to get blamed for there team losing is the quarterback but this is what Warren Moon thought about the whole situation.

"I think a lot of this is because so many people want to say 'I told you so' about him but couldn't because he was so good last year," Moon told Yahoo! Sports. "I think people are overreacting. How can he be a bust? He just had one of the great years a rookie has ever had, and now he can't play? Come on."

I would have to agree with Warren Moon because people cant say Cam Newton is not a good quarterback anymore after coming of the greatest season a quarterback has ever had in the NFL as a rookie and plus Cam Newton is mt 2nd favorite quarterback.

Casey Pachall Leaves TCU

TCU starting QB Casey Pachall leaves the program because of alcohol and drugs addiction to enter  inpatient facility. The week before he was suspended for a game because of a DWI. I just cant wrap my mind around why someone would blow a great opportunity like this on drugs and alcohole. Not only is he letting himself down but he's letting his family and team down...I don't get it. I will say at least he's smart enough to realize that he needs help, it takes a lot for someone to admit that. Since TCU is losing there starting QB for the rest of the season they're going to struggle for the rest of the season and it ashamed they were having a great season. They have been undefeated with Casey Pachall at QB. The only good thing about the situation is if he gets better they are going to let Casey Pachall return to school and the team.

Manti Teo Highest ranked Defensive Player in Heisman

We hear you, Notre Dame fans. More specifically, we see what you see: Manti Te'o is a very good football player.

How good? He is No. 8 in our Heisman Watch this week, making him the highest-ranked defensive player on the 15-man list.

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith is No. 1 overall. Te'o received a pair of fourth-place votes, along with three fifth-place votes. I had him fifth. Here's my ballot:
  • 1) EJ Manuel, FSU
  • 2) Geno Smith, WVU
  • 3) Marqise Lee, USC
  • 4) Collin Klein, Kansas State
  • 5) Manti Te'o, Notre Dame

Three NFL Players Fined 21K

Three NFL players were fined $21k each. Williams made helmet-to-helmet contact with Jimmy Graham when the Saints' tight end was defenseless with about three minutes remaining in Sunday's game at New Orleans. Mays did the same to Baltimore tight end Ed Dickson in a Monday night game. Rahim unnecessarily struck defenseless Steelers receiver Emmanuel Sanders in the head and neck area Sunday night. Reported by ESPN.com news services. I think they are taking this way out of proportion, it's football players are going to get hit like that and its obvious there not doing it on purpose because it keeps on happening and no player whats to be fined $21k. I understand that they are trying to keep players safe but its still happening and it's because this players are playing hard. I saw the Rahim Moore hit and I thought it was a good hit.

Replacement Refs

The biggest problem in the NFL which we all know is the NFL replacement refs. Plan and simple they are not getting the job done. I felt like the refs where already making bad calls but when I witnessed the horrible call during the Greenbay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks I knew something has to change. I thought i would never say something like this but when the regular refs comeback i will never complain about another call again.

Vikings Without Adrain Peterson

The Minnesota Vikings coaching staff aren't sure if they are going to let Adrian Peterson play the season opener on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars because of his ACL he tore last season. The coaching staff is giving Adrian Peterson a chance to plead his case on why they should let him play Sunday. I think there shouldn't even be a discussion, let the man play. He's the only one that knows if his knee is 100%. His arguably the best running back in the league, and the only hope of the Viking even winning a game this. LET HIM PLAY!!!!!
